Safeguarding and Child Protection,

Safeguarding for all children and families is our primary concern.
All appointments and volunteer placements are subject to full DBS checks. As a school we follow all the requirements of Safe Recruitment. 
All staff receive regular training and professional development on safeguarding of children.
The school's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is: Anna Seal  - Head of school 
Supported by Deputy safeguarding leads (DDSL): N Flux - teacher, J.Cutler - teacher/SENDCO, B.Newton - teaching assistant and extended schools.
The Governor responsible for  safeguarding is Mrs R Partridge.
The Wessex academy Trust Board member responsible for safeguarding is Mr M Baker.

 Safeguarding Policy Each year, we update our Safeguarding Policy and engage in safeguarding training in line with Government legislation and Local Authority recommendations.
